Definition

Parneoplastic multifocal encephalomyelitis includes subsets of brain stem, limbic basal ganglia, cortical encephalitis, and overlaps with cerebella, myelitis, and autonomic syndromes. autoimmune disorder opoften precedes tumor and that tumor often small cell lung cancer; limbic encephalitis is the only one that responds well to treatment IVIG/Steroids/RX tumor/Immun suppression
