Definition

Caused by trauma usually , unless ureteropelvic transection of urreter or free periotoneal leak. In all cases tissue catheter or cyst drainage done to remove fluid dissecting into tissue. Need to relieve lower tract obstruction is critical. Traumatic laceration, rupture worst with horshoe kidney and obstruction with and without kidney stone. In neonates look for megaureter or blockage below for pelvic with medial urine leak; this is a pathophysiologic process.
