Definition

Primarily an Antineoplastic cancer chemotherapy drug. Alkylating agents interfere with methylation of DNA in mitosis, inhibits cell division. Speciality use only is recommended; a dangerous class of drugs with predictable bone marrow suppression often. Used for malignant astrocytoma brain tumor primarily.
