are CBRNE agents; This is a Vesicant with IMMEDIATE effect with blinding blepharospasm, edema lids, corneal burn; rhinorrhea, bronchorrhea, epistaxis and a bloody mucous cough productive in high dose trachea burn, sloughing pseudomembrane and "dry-land drowning" asphyxia; always with erythema, burning, itching, exposed skin promply forming vesical, blisters, and bulla; hypovolemia and shock from fluid shift; this is a cheap easy to make CBW but hard to handle as extremely volatile ; used by Italy and Japan in the 1930"s; Lewsite is L and smells like geraniums, the others smell like rotting fruit and are MD (Methyldichloroarsine), ED (Ethyldichloroarsine), and PD (Phenyldichloroarsine); Phosgene oxime is a weaker vesicant; mustard gas is a slower acting vesicant; heavy skin dose can cause hemolytic anemia like arsine
